Volupe: Siemens Simcenter software, supported by engineers

Volupe AB is a Siemens Simcenter reseller, founded in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 2017. We license 18 Simcenter products, including the former Altair tools, and our own application specialists support and train the teams who use them, from the Nordics to Italy and Iberia.

From Gothenburg to Europe

How a Siemens partner company started in Gothenburg in 2017 came to sell and support Simcenter in 28 countries.

  1. Founded in Gothenburg

    Volupe started after Siemens Digital Industries Software asked Robert Samuelsson whether he would start a partner company for its simulation software. Robert’s story

  2. The Nordics, the Baltics and Benelux

    Volupe was a Siemens partner for the Nordic–Baltic and Benelux region, and Siemens named it EMEA Partner of the Year for Simulation and Test. Read about the award

  3. Germany, and one group with FS Dynamics

    Priveq took a majority stake in Volupe and the engineering consultancy FS Dynamics, with the founders reinvesting. In July 2025 Volupe signed a Siemens reseller agreement for Germany. The group Germany

  4. Poland, Italy and Switzerland

    Endego’s software team in Kraków and BSIM Engineering in Turin and Lugano joined Volupe, giving us local teams in all three countries. Poland Italy and Switzerland

  5. 28 countries

    Today we also cover Iceland, Austria, Spain and Portugal, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Albania, with local teams in Sweden, Poland, Italy and Switzerland.

Our group

Part of Volupe FS Group

Since May 2025 Volupe and the engineering consultancy FS Dynamics have been one group, majority owned by the Swedish private equity firm Priveq, with the founders reinvesting. Volupe AB is led by its CEO, Robert Samuelsson; the group by Group CEO Roger Blom, who founded FS Dynamics. Together the companies serve more than 400 customers a year.
