As part of our growth journey, the founders of Volupe and FS Dynamics have partnered with Priveq to build a European leader in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), combining software distribution with high-end engineering consultancy. Priveq is acquiring a majority stake in both companies, with the founders reinvesting alongside them to accelerate the group’s continued development.

FS Dynamics is a leading CAE consultancy, offering deep expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Structural Dynamics (FEA), Plasma and Molecular Dynamics. With over 150 highly skilled CAE engineers, FS Dynamics supports nearly 200 clients annually across a wide range of industries, including semiconductors, energy, marine, transportation, offshore, and life sciences, delivering both in-house development projects and expert consultants to client organizations.

 

Your Role: Account Manager

Position Overview

The Account Manager is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory or set of accounts, and is responsible for maximizing sales profitability, growth and account penetration. Excellent communication skills and a desire to work with clients are critical to success in this fast-paced and broad sales account role. Responsibilities

  • Performs sales activities for new and renewal business for an assigned geographic area, set of accounts or product/service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives
  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for Volupe’s products and services
  • Creates and conducts sales presentations to match the company’s products/services with identified needs. Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
  • Creates and maintains account plans for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting and technical services groups
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions; schedules training and seminars to enhance new business opportunities
  • Maintains regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone/on-site visits
  • Alerts client to new or improved products/services
  • Develop relationships with clients

 

What You Bring

 Required
  • Minimum M.Sc.’s degree in an engineering discipline or Master’s degree with technical sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering analysis and technology
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • German and English
Preferred
  • Experience with Siemens Simcenter, Altair Hyperworks, or other commercial CFD/CAE/System tools.
  • Working knowledge of common design processes, objectives and constraints in one of the following industries: Semiconductor, Chemical, Process, Combustion, Oil & Gas, Energy, Marine, Aerospace, Automotive, etc.
  • Knowledge of the specific territory, product line, or customer(s) a plus
  • Proven/documented sales ability
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Any of the Nordic languages, French, Spanish, etc.
