Aker Solutions and Volupe has come to an agreement where Volupe will deliver their PaaS solution; a combination of hardware for High Performance Computing and the software Simcenter STAR-CCM+ for advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations.

Utlizing Volupe´s PaaS offerings enables our CFD Centre of Excellent to address peak load capacity as a complement to our comprehensive in-house HPC resources. This will allow us to continue to pave the way through the energy transition offering world leading low carbon solutions within Subsea Compression and other advanced subsea building blocks. The choice of Volupe as a PaaS partner aligns well with our symbiosis with Siemens and the long term strategy to use the Siemens Simcenter portfolio for simulation driven product design within fluid mechanics.
