Last summer I oversaw the creation of a two-day introduction course in Simcenter STAR-CCM+. The course was held at the Volupe office in Gothenburg. Considering the current situation in the world where travel is heavily restricted and people gathering is politely dissuaded, we at Volupe are now offering the same course online. The first series of online lectures were given this week, with success.The course prerequisites are some CFD knowhow and engineering background. What you can expect from the course is to learn the basic usage of Simcenter STAR-CCM+. After you finished this course you will be able to create, handle and perform simulations on your geometry. You will be aware of typical CFD challenges and know how to use the inherent tools within the software to create, handle and perform simulations on your geometry.
