Volupe has acquired BSIM Engineering, an Italy- and Switzerland-based engineering solutions partner specialising in Siemens Simcenter and Altair solutions, with particularly strong expertise in 1D and system simulation. The acquisition establishes Volupe’s first presence in Italy and Switzerland, and strengthens the group’s position as a leading European partner in engineering simulation software.
Together, Volupe and BSIM combine complementary expertise across 1D and system simulation, CFD, FEA and physical testing. BSIM will serve as the group’s European centre of excellence for 1D and system simulation, while Volupe contributes broad capabilities within 3D CFD, FEA and the wider Siemens and Altair software portfolios.
